Did you know that the ‘Gay-Pride’ Flag Actually Mocks God? See How| Biblical History

PREFACE: The purpose of this article is not to promote violence or other negative gestures against those of the homosexual community — instead, the goal of this article is to address the topic from a Christian perspective while comparing the events taking place to a biblical world-view.

gay-flagIn the 1950’s and 60’s there was a massive movement to defend homosexuals from the widespread ‘discrimination’ against individuals who did not conform to the commonly accepted sexual paradigm (men with women). But because the majority of the population conformed to generic Christian values, homosexuality was viewed negatively by many — but It was around this time that organizations emerged with the sole purpose of establishing a sense of pride among the gay community.

This lead to the creation of the ‘Gay Pride’ (or LGBT) parades that are held annually — along with the ‘Gay is Good’ marketing campaigns that helped promote the movement.

The “Gay Pride” Movement

NOTE: LGBT stands for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Transgenders.

The goal of the movement was to force those who once opposed homosexuality, to accept it as apart of life. Although they faced much opposition at the start of the movement, they eventually succeeded. As Church attendance declined, we noticed a drastic rise in the acceptance of homosexuality even amongst those who professed to be Christians.

The “Rainbow March”

Today we can literally see as thousands of people gather each year to celebrate their homosexuality.  They can often be seen carrying their ‘Rainbow’ flags or “Marching with the Rainbow” as some call it.

gay pride

But why do this? What significance can the rainbow possibly signify?

According to several sources, the ‘gay pride’ flag (also called LGBT flag) was created to symbolize the diversity of the LGBT community. Originating in California but now being accepted worldwide as belonging to the ‘Gay Pride’ movement.

Although you may get a wide variety of answers if you go to one of these parades and ask one of the LGBT members what it means — very few people know the historical and biblical significance behind this flag being used by people to signify that they are ‘proud’ of their sexual immorality.

LGBT Flag: The Biblical History of the “Rainbow”

I am sure many of you are wondering how could the LGBT flag relate to the bible in any way. Let me show you…

In the book of Genesis, the bible speaks about how the people of the earth had become so evil, wicked, and perverse — that God was sorrowful that he had ever created mankind.

It was in this time that God decided to flood the earth, but there was 1 man on the planet who found favor in God’s eyes … Noah. (Gen 6:5-8)

(Genesis 6:5)  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

(Genesis 6:6)  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

(Genesis 6:7)  And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

(Genesis 6:8)  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

So because Noah found grace in his eyes — God instructed Noah to build an ark for him and his family. Once the ark was built Noah and his family entered the ark — thereby being saved from God’s judgement upon the earth.ark

God’s promise to NOAH

When the time came for Noah and his family to leave the ark and return to land, Noah built an altar unto God and offered sacrifices to him. The bible tells us that when Noah offered these sacrifices — God smelled the sweet savor of Noah’s sacrifice and it touched his heart.

(Genesis 8:20)  And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

(Genesis 8:21)  And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

(Genesis 8:22)  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

After God had blessed Noah and his sons, and all the creatures of the earth — he then made a covenant (promise) with all living creatures. It was in this covenant that God promised that he would never again flood the earth — no matter how wicked mankind became.

God then decreed that whenever he causes much rain to come upon the earth, the rainbow will be seen. It was then that God created the rainbow, and placed it in the clouds as a visual reminder to all of creation that he will never forget his promise.

noah-rainbow

How does this Relate?

(In this section I’d like to tie all of the knots together by clearly and plainly depicting how the rainbow of the LGBT flag relates to the story of Noah.)

If you will think back to the story of Noah, you will remember that God flooded the earth because the iniquity of humanity had gotten far too great. They were corrupt, hateful, and wicked in everything that they did — this includes sexual immorality.

Not only were men sleeping with men and women with women — but both men and women had begun sleeping with the ANIMALS (Beastiality). According to the Bible, the immorality in the Earth was so high that God gave them over to their vile affections. (Romans 1:23-32)

It was things such as this that forced God to judge the entire earth by sending a massive flood to cover the entire face of the earth.

But after God had flooded the earth, the Bible tells us that he remembered Noah and his family — he then caused the waters to subside and the rain to cease.

bow

When Noah and his family were off the ark, God made them a promise that he would never again flood the earth — no matter HOW evil humanity became.

So to ensure that all of humanity remembered his promise, God gave us a ‘Token’ (gift). The purpose of this token was to remind us of his promise whenever we see the rain fall upon the earth — and that gift was the Rainbow. (Gen 9:12-17)

The rainbow is a contract from God to mankind. In this contract, God gives humanity his Word that he will never again flood the entire earth — no matter what.

Therefore when we see Thousands of homosexuals marching in the streets with the Rainbow as their flag — they are essentially implying that they are proud of their sexual immorality whether God likes it or not — while simultaneously reminding God of the contract that he made with humanity never to flood the earth again.

Keeping in mind that sexual immorality was one of the very reasons God flooded the earth in the first place — We can clearly see how this is a provocative declaration towards The Most High.

pride

Fortunately — I am certain that God knows that many of the people marching are not fully aware of the biblical significance of using the rainbow (contract) as their gay-pride flag, Which is why I believe he has been so merciful to them.

But whether they realize it or not — the masses who gather together to celebrate their sexual immorality, and those who carry these colorful flags are essentially provoking God to wrath in their Ignorance (Which is a big ‘no-no‘).

In the book of Deuteronomy, we can read about the children of Israel who provoked the Lord in the wilderness and were almost destroyed.

(Deuteronomy 9:7)  Remember, and forget not, how you provoked the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

(Deuteronomy 9:8)  Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.

wilderness

But despite what many may think, Ignorance is not bliss.

(Hosea 4:6)  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

So the next time you see someone proudly waving the ‘Rainbow’ flag of the LGBT — start the conversation by asking them…

“Hey, What do you think that ‘Rainbow’ Means?”

  • I’ve always wondered why LGBT choose the colorful flag to represent themselves. I kind of figured the colorful stripes because they were “happy” people to say the least. The symbol that was given to us as a promise from GOd is being used as a statement from LGBT expressing their presence in the world. Its so weird that people can get so caught in themselves and not realize whats really going on. To the LGBT community they are just expressing themselves, but in actuality they are mocking God.
Recently I saw a picture of Kayne West on my instagram timeline. On the picture I think someone was promoting one of his songs or tour. The picture was of him on a cross with a crown of thornes on his head with the caption “YEEZUS”. I immedaitely said to myself ” What in the World is he thinking’. THen I realized he was so caught upin drawing the attention of “people” that he was not bothered by the mokery he was making.
These are just two cases of many where God’s word is being mocked. I also see it from the pesepective that they lack knowlede or better yet ignore the truth.
Satan has so many people fooled and deceived that they have gotten caught up in themselves and knowledge and true understanding are out the window.
Hosea 4:6 says ” My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge…”

YES… they are rejecting the knowledge because if you try to enlighten them to the truth the first response is. “ITS NOT THAT SERIOUS or ITS NOT THAT DEEP”
So his people will perish for the lack of knowledge..

Just as you stated in your post that you were not trying to offend anyone. I’m not aiming to offend anyone with my comment. The truth of the matter is there is an urgency to get the truth to everyone. God came so that none will perish but have eternal life. How can one have the eternal life without the truth of their actions.

    • dlundy1

Great comment Janice, I completely agree.

sometimes we can do the wrong things but with good intentions. As I stated in the post, I am sure that the majority of those people are completely oblivious to the mockery of carrying the flag — but there was clearly someone behind the scenes who did understand its significance.

They probably begin to spend money promoting the flag as the “Gay-Pride” symbol and then told everyone that it means ‘Diversity’ in order to get them to accept it. It is amazing that even to this very day — 90% of them are still unaware of this.

      But Thanks for your feedback!

Yes It is amazing that they are insulting God and don’t even realize it! So many people are completely blind to biblical History because they don’t read and study the bible — therefore they are bound to make the same mistakes that the children of Israel made in the wilderness.

What do you call the victimizing of another group of people at the hands of organized religion using a belief system in a supreme being whose existence cannot be proven?

      Thanks for your comment.

The Scriptures tell us that God is loving and Merciful, although he could indeed smite us down…
Because he is patient and kind he shows us undeserved grace in hopes of leading us to repentance.

(2 Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

      ALSO…

(Romans 2:4) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and
forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God
      leadeth thee to repentance?

God showed his love for humanity when he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of humanity. And It is through Jesus’s sacrifice that mankind can be delivered from their sin, which will inevitably result in Eternal Death otherwise.

(John 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Ignorance is no excuse! This is what a judge once told me as he said guilty and fined me for fishing in part of a creek that was off limits. I really didn’t know I was in the wrong, but what the judge was implying was that I should have read more of the fishing rule book as the law was plainly spelled out. This is also true for those who have been told the truth in the Bible, but refused to read it for themselves and instead mock the Bible, the Christians and God himself. In the end “Ignorance will not be a valid Excuse” as each person takes a personal stand in the Courts of Heaven during the Days of Judgement. Jesus Christ is your only way out.

  • Butterfly_fairy

Trying to black mail the creator? Hadn’t thought of that but makes sense.

  • Fedup

What a load of claptrap by a bigoted fundamentalist. Yet another example of how too many Christians will take things and twist them to suit their agenda. Deon, I see you are black. Remember that this same text (the bible) was used to keep your race in slavery just as you are now using it in your vitriolic against gay people. Just as you didnt choose to be born black, gay people didnt choose to be born gay! Who in their right mind do you honestly think would choose to live a life that has to endure this sort of hatred and attitude?

    • scorpiannes

Gay people CHOSE to act gay though don’t they….I mean why do gay men take on the characteristics of black women and talk all gay like, but Lesbians don’t lower their voices and act like black men? So acting gay is certainly a choice…how about just trying to act NORMAL and not so gay like ….it would really help your cause

      • Fedup

The superficial ‘characteristics’ you are referencing above are a choice by some of both the black women you mention and some gay men. Not all black women nor all gay men exhibit this behaviour. This ‘performance” is a choice, usually to entertain others and what difference does it make? However the point I am making is that fundamentally, just like a black woman doesnt get a choice about being black as she was born that way, gay people do not get to choose their sexual orientation, they too were born that way.

        • scorpiannes

“Superficial” what’s with the gay lisp then….ala Barney Frank…ALmost ALL gay American WHITE men exhibit this behavior….funny how gay white English , Belgium, Irish, and Australian men don’t swish and sway …it’s a choice to act like that for sure….as for “being gay” a choice…no I think most likely born that way…but it’s clearly not normal tho…like being born with an extra chromosome….not normal. I think one would have to be crazy to CHOOSE to be gay so yeah I think most are born that way. When they figure out the “gay gene” if there really is one..and I hope there is just to settle it once and for all….there will be abortions across the planet at exponential rates…funny it won’t be the Muslims or the Christians doing the aborting either…that’s weird how that works out isn’t it

          • Sofia

Honestly, this is the most insulting thing I’ve ever heard. That you have wrongly accused groups of people to ALL have specific traits. Black women and black men do not have a specific voice pattern that they must follow. I’m not sure who you are basing your knowledge off of, but clearly people find this offensive. Not all homosexual men have voices as you suggest. I personally know people who are born with that sort of voice and are completely heterosexual. There is no “gay gene” or else there would be a “straight gene” as well. That’s ridiculous that you think being gay is some sort of dysfunction in the body. And just why exactly would someone be crazy to choose to be Gay? It makes you as a person no different from the rest. Homosexuals and heterosexuals are the EXACT SAME. Nothing is different except for a preference of companion! I, by the way, don’t find that only American homosexual men have lisps. I think anybody can have one and what choice do they have? Maybe some people do choose it, but what’s the problem? Why does it “not help your situation”? Why should you care? Changing how you speak is like changing your clothing. IT’S YOUR CHOICE. I believe the LGTB community chose a rainbow because (as God said to Noah about not being afraid, and the bad days are over) their hiding is over too! I believe that the LGTB community has been shamed for so long and now they are not afraid to come out and speak for themselves! Be who you are, God loves all of us and has created us ALL to be unique individuals. Why would God make us to have a same-sex preference, yet shame us for it? Personally it makes no sense.
I don’t mean to accuse, I apologize for any miscommunication or confusion. You have you own opinions and I have mine, but please, don’t hate our brothers and sisters for how they are created.

          • scorpiannes

I agree with some of what you said….however being gay is NOT the exact same thing as being straight. It is clearly a dysfunction of the brain wiring or something like that…it could even be from all of the female hormones they are pumping into the water supply or something they gave the pregnant mothers. It was even found that female hormones were in canned foods…so it could be social engineering…lower the population or something like that…not sure…as for being offensive…I think being gay is offensive, I think the rainbow flag is offensive, I think that gay lisp is offensive…not really, but you get my point….just because you think that stereotyping gay lisp is offensive doesn’t mean it is….maybe you gays need to stop being so offended by everything. With that being said….I am not judging you for being gay…most likely you can’t help it and just want to love and be loved…but its not right or normal…you can scream it from the rooftops and it will still never be normal

    • Sherry Blanton

With this attitude of hate your spewing it’s no wonder some people show hatred to the GLBT people. If you want respect, show some respect and you may get it back in return. Just because someone doesn’t agree with that lifestyle doesn’t mean they are bigot. You have a lot of growing up to do as well as soul searching. Have a nice day!

      • Fedup

No hatred, just defending the facts. Perhaps you should spend some time educating yourself rather than just spewing out the numerous cliches you have in the above statement. You have a nice day too 😉

Well Sherry if you REALLY want to see some hate why not go to your local gay bar and see what other gay men say about WOMEN and other less than attractive gay men. You want to see some hate….gays are the most hate filled people on the planet. Gays try so hard to get acceptance when its just not going to happen because being homosexual is against nature and is abnormal

    • mark

Then choose not to…we all sin..He heals

      • Fedup

Thats the whole point I am making: It is not a choice. Let me make it as simple as I can:
Asking a gay person to choose to be straight, is like asking a blue-eyed person to choose to have brown eyes. Yes, it can be done at great effort, cost and daily sacrifice by wearing coloured contact lenses, however it will always be covering up their natural ‘state’, i.e. blue eyes, even though they are ‘projecting’ brown eyes to the world. No amount of healing (as you refer to) is going to change their natural state (eye colour).
In the same way, gay people cannot choose to be straight. They can however choose to go through the daily coverup and sadly, the weaker ones do, living lives of desperation & lack of wholeness as a result of religious indoctrination, persecution & fear perpetuated by articles like this.

        • dlundy1

QUOTE: “Thats the whole point I am making: It is not a choice.”

REPLY: Chantal, the bible tells us that we are ALL born with a Sinful Nature. Meaning that we naturally gravitate towards sin because it is human Nature.

On that Note, SIN comes in Many different ‘Flavors’ — Homosexuality is simply one type of Sin. However because Humans are sinful by nature, we will eventually gravitate toward one sin or the other.

So lets operate under the assumption that Sexuality is not a choice. Even so, that must be applied to all areas of Sexuality. ( Man-Man, Woman-Woman, Man-boy, Woman-girl, Man-animal, etc )

Operating under this concept, how can we punish someone who is sexually attracted to children? They were BORN this way — therefore how can we fault them and send them to Prison?

The truth is this, Yes — we may all be BORN sinners. However that doesn’t make the Sin it right.

Just because I am sexually attracted to women doesn’t give me the right to go out and have Sex with my neighbor’s Wife.

Yes, Humans have a disadvantage in that we instinctively want to do what is WRONG rather than right — However this is why God sent his son Jesus, to save us from our Sin.

However in order to be Saved, we must first recognize that we need Salvation from our wrongdoings.

The Bible says that God is faithful to forgive our sins as long as we CONFESS them. (1 John 1:9)

However this is the exact opposite of what the world is doing. Instead of acknowledging our Sin and confessing it to God, we have taken PRIDE in our sin. (hence ‘Gay Pride’)

In God’s eyes, Homosexuality is Evil .. However even if we were ‘Born’ that way — We don’t have to STAY that way. We can make a conscious effort to turn away from our sin.

But at the end of the day, We have a choice.

I was born an alcoholic. Does that mean I had to stay one? I have faith that God is greater in His power to overcome my sinful nature. What I hear you saying, is you do not have enough faith that God has the power to overcome. The gospel is only good news if you see life changing results.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.” John 14:33, Isaiah 41:10

        • Sofia

          I agree 🙂

QUOTE: “Deon, I see you are black. Remember that this same text (the bible) was used to keep your race in slavery just as you are now using it in your vitriolic against gay people.”

RESPONSE: Many women have reported being Abused or Raped at Gun/Knife Point … Does that mean that Guns and Knives are Evil?

If a person picks up a Hammer, and uses it to Bash in the skull of another person — Does that mean hammers are Evil? Should we Ban them from Society?

Likewise, The Bible was misused by men who didn’t have understanding of it. However to blame the BIBLE for actions of fallible Humans is similar to blaming a HAMMER for Murder just because it was used improperly.

The flaw is found in people. It is called SIN.

  • Beth Cannon

    Dear Deon,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law. I
have learned a great deal from your show, and I try to share that
knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the
homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly
states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.

    a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

    b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

    c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

    d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and
female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend
of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you
clarify? Why can’t I own Canadians?

    e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

    f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this?

    g) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a
defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does
my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

    h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair
around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

    i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

    j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different
crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of
two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to
curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the
trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

      There are many who try to blend these two systems, the sacrificial and ceremonial laws together using the texts that speak of the ceremonial law to prove that the moral law has been abolished; but this is a perversion of the Scriptures. The distinction between the two systems is broad and clear. The ceremonial system was made up of symbols pointing to Christ, to His sacrifice and His priesthood. This ritual law, with its sacrifices and ordinances, was to be performed by the Hebrews until the shadow of the real thing met in the death of Christ, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Then all the sacrificial offerings were to cease. It is this law that Christ “took … out of the way, nailing it to His cross.” Colosians 2:14. But concerning the law of Ten Commandments the psalmist declares, “Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalms 119:89 . And Christ Himself says, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law…. Verily I say unto you”—making the assertion as emphatic as possible—“Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:17, 18. Here He teaches, not merely what the claims of God’s law had been, and were then, but that these claims should hold as long as the heavens and the earth remain. The law of God is as immutable as His throne. It will maintain its claims upon mankind in all ages.{PP 365.1}
Concerning the law proclaimed from Sinai, Nehemiah says, “Thou camest down also upon Mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments.” Nehemiah 9:13. And Paul, “the apostle to the Gentiles,” declares, “The law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” Romans 7:12. This can be no other than the Decalogue; for it is the law that says, “Thou shalt not covet.”

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

  • Debbeth

Well said. In Judaism we also know that the covenant is a covenant not to destroy the earth again WITH WATER. Only with water.

  • fights

    Great informative article, Deon!

  • Ignatius

I beg to differ that thus article is not here to incite further hate. It definitely is helping to fuel that hate. Specially by spewing this online. Just look at the comments. Pretty clear what this article is doing. And by the way, the gay flag had only 6 colours where the natural rainbow has 7 colours. Yeah I know. I do know the word of God and the bible.

    • mark

      Doesn’t mean you know Him

    • Vanessa Le

Hot pink was one of the original colours but eventually was dropped so the gay flag was supposed to have 7 colours.

    • Vanessa Le

Hot pink was one of the original colours chosen to make up the 7 colours. It was dropped because when the production of flags was amped up they couldn’t find the availability of the hot pink fabric.

  • ForPeteSaiche

From a friend: “The Rainbow is God’s creation.

A rainbow circles around the throne of God and is a covenant between
Him and every living creature on the earth that the waters shall no more
become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Satan wants to be like the
most High, so he duplicates everything of God’s creation and puts a
twist on it, just like we see with the homosexual pride rainbow.

The Covenant of the Rainbow ~ Genesis 9:13-17

I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the
covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud
over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will
remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living
creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to
destroy all flesh. The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on
it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living
creature of all flesh that is on the earth.
    And God said to Noah,
“This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me
and all flesh that is on the earth.”

Vision of the Divine Glory ~
Ezekiel 1:28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy
day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the
appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

The Throne in Heaven ~ Revelation 4:3 And He who sat there was like a
jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around
the throne, in appearance like an emerald. ……….We Christians must
stick together now. The Beast is active and we all must care for and
protect each other.” Peace be with you.

  • Doug

This homosexual act started way before Noah’s time. It started in the garden. Eve Par took of the tree of good and evil and gave to her husband and he did eat. The rainbow standard/flag is Satan

  • Bill Moss

God said He would Gomorrah, and Pompeii with fire from the heavens. Now look what happened in Taiwan 500 marchers in a Gay Pride Parade and the Glitter they threw in the air ignited injuring 200 and hospitalizing 80 more. I say God still has plans if they don’t turn from their sin.

  • C. therealworld

WOW! that fact that you felt it necessary to have a disclaimer at the beginning of this article is frightening.

    • dlundy1

Yes Chuck, there are some people who take Christian information and ‘Twist’ it in an attempt to paint Christianity in a negative and/or hateful Light.

The information presented in this post is not to encourage someone to pickup a gun and shoot members of the LGBT community, but rather to show them (LGBT) the error in their ways and inform them that there is a God, and he loves them and sent his son, Jesus Christ, to save them from their Sins.

It is only once they understand this concept that they can honestly shout “Love Wins” — because Love Won at Calvary.

      • Michael

I hope Christians will find it in their hearts to stop being so violent one day, so that disclaimers aren’t necessary.

    • Lennie

Really ? Are you new to the current times.

  • nancy williams

God’s rainbow has 7 colors the GLBT has 6 colors what does that tell you?? They are going against God. Maybe there eyes have been blinded to the 7th color because they chose not to believe. So they where handed over to a probate minds.

  • BC

While God said he will not destroy the earth by flood again, He did not say He would not destroy the earth again when evil prevails to that level, Rev. tells us what His plans are for the next time.

I believe the LGTB community chose a rainbow because (as God said to Noah about not being afraid, and that the bad days are over) their hiding is over too. I believe that the LGTB community has been shamed for being who they are for so long and now they are not afraid to come out and speak for themselves. Much like the rainbow was to say “the dark times are over” the gay community may use that to say as if their dark past is over too. God loves us all regardless and that’s just my opinion, I respect yours as well 🙂

    • Sofia

And by “dark past” I mean being shamed and labelled for who they were. They were judged solely on their personal preference and not judged on how they were as PEOPLE on the INSIDE

  • R de Villiers

The article states that “It was then that God created the rainbow”. This gives the impression that rainbows didn’t exist before the flood. It makes sense that they would have already existed because of the laws of physics, but as Calvin pointed out, God frequently invested existing things with new meanings, e.g. the bread and wine at the Lord’s Supper.

    • Linda

There had been no rain upon the earth as we know it today. The tempatures were probably what we would consider paradise. there was a canopy that covered the earth. Rain was not the only source that caused this global flood, but the bible says, The waters of the deep were broken up. This was water coming from the ground. So yes, this was the first rainbow. Shortly after the flood, there was something magnificent that happened, an earthquake or the earth being struck by a meteor, Or both, hitting the earth so hard, which knocked the earths axis to the angle it now sits removing the canopy and causing the ice age. a detailed study of Genesis is both revealing and a blessing.

  • v j

According to Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Now in these last days Satan power to overcome the saints is a LGBT goal. The only thing needed for evil to prevail is for the good people to do nothing.

  • Baby_Raptor

Why do you insist on projecting your religion onto people who want nothing to do with it?

I am not “mocking god” when I use the rainbow. I don’t believe in your god; why would I mock him?

Please, PLEASE learn that not everything revolves around you and your faith. You do nothing but make yourselves look bad when you claim that every little thing is actually somehow either Christianity’s or mocking Christianity.

    • Ash

The creator of the flag researched and knew of its biblical meaning before deciding on it.

      • Baby_Raptor

        Got any proof for that?

And even if it’s true, why does it matter? Do you think that Christians have sole claim to anything they can project a “biblical meaning” onto?

You’re missing my point entirely. We’re not mocking your god. We don’t care about him. Christians are creating this “mocking” and then projecting it onto us and making us the bad guys. Nothing about the fight for equal rights has been done to “persecute Christians” or “mock god.” All of that is you guys pretending you’re being treated badly.

I’m tired of being lied about. Find someone else to pretend is making you a victim.

        • Americandream11

Trust me, all you need to know, is that you are LOVED by God!! YOU are~ YOU!!

          • Baby_Raptor

Also, I have proof that your god either doesn’t exist or doesn’t love me. No loving person, deity or otherwise, would allow people to be abused in their name. No loving person, deity or otherwise, would ignore years of cries for help. No loving person, deity or otherwise, would sit on their rear while massive harm is done in their name if they didn’t approve.

None of that is love. And that’s just from my personal life. We can crack the bible and look in there if you’re so inclined. Lots to point out.

If you want to continue lying to yourself, feel free. Leave me out of it. I do not consent to be part of your religious masturbation and I do not want anything to do with your god. Have the basic humanity to respect that, will you?

          • Torra

He doesn’t ignore it is man who ignore him

          • Baby_Raptor

I realize that this claim is theology that you’ve had pounded in your head but stop and think about this for a minute. You just read a person talking about suffering years of abuse and begging for help.

How is the proper response to call them a liar? And frankly, what gives you the right? What makes you think it’s okay to just blithely erase a good chunk of my life because it doesn’t fit into your boxes of how reality works?

Christians are supposed to be about love. Think about that before you erase someone in the name of keeping your fragile beliefs solid next time. Telling people that the lives they experienced never happened because you have a thought you want to cling to isn’t going to help your religion. It’s going to reaffirm the current belief that Christianity is full of jerks.

          • Guest

I suffered a lot, I was raped beat up to the point that I couldn’t walk for a month, blood everywhere. I had a lot of anger towards people and my abusers. I wanted to stop suffering, but I kept going through pain and raped again by another person. Then I met this Christian man & his wife, he said he was a pastor.. he came to our house and talked about Jesus.. he said I had to accept Jesus into my heart and explain all of this to me.. it was with sincerity. For the longest time I kept saying it to myself in my head at a younger age that I accepted Jesus..but there was no one I ever spoke to and I never really said it out loud. Anyways, I was anxious to say yes. He placed his hand on my forehead and I fainted. I felt a heavy feeling leaving my body and peace came upon me. I no longer felt this anger I had. I started crying.. I wanted to die that day because I felt so much peace and I said to myself wow this feels great I would be happy if I died like this. Of course I did not die, to be honest I asked God to take me, but nothing… I then when on with my life, I could no longer relate to my old friends because they were so angry still and I couldn’t really feel that way anymore. Throughout life I suffer even after that day, but my suffering was different this time, I would get taunted based on my Christianity or breakups etc. We all suffer, we are human and life on Earth is a cycle.. we are only here temporarily until we die and leave the earth. I respect everyone and wish no harm on anyone. I know how it feels to suffer as I suffer all the time. I was loner in school, I got teased for wearing non-branded shoes like Nike, Adidas etc.. the girl that jumped me along with her friends became Christian and asked me to forgive her, I did and we are acquaintances now. I was getting beat up everyday by own dad and he made all of us suffer. I got teased for being Christian by my old angry friends, I was ridiculed many times, I can go on and on. I no longer feel that anger and I think that’s what really made a difference in my life. Letting it all go. I have family who are gay and one of my good friends is gay. People can make their own decisions in their lifes while here on earth. For me the rainbow is a reminder of God because this was the original meaning. In addition, I understand that this day an age it also has other meanings to the gay community which is okay because we all make our own decisions as to what we believe in as long as we don’t harm anyone while doing so than we are good.

          • Baby_Raptor

Why would you worship a god who sat back and did nothing as you suffered all of that?

          • Midnight_my_puppy

People worship him despite what bhappensbecause he can’t give us everything plus lots of the time you don’t realize when he was there because you expect him to show in person like the story of the man who osaton his house as the town flooded believing God would save him and rejected every boat that came to hihelshimsaying god was gonna save him when he died hhe askedhim why he didn’t help him and god replied that he did but he never accepted his help which where bothboats. God can’t give us everything all the time he can’t force people to do things… Someone in my parents foster care was adopted they had to go to court to fight an abusive dad who was charged for abusing the mother while she was pregnant the court decided he will stay in her life and now she’s a five year old girl with at least 8 different mental health issues. I’m not trying to push Christianity on you (even if I tried pushing it on it would be catholic not Christianity) but keep in mind other religions aren’t actually as bad as majority if Christians that’s a nurture thing I learned while studying psychology. I respect you not wanting god in your life but he can be there for you if you just pay close attention because he can’t physically come down to earth also I should probably stop reading comments because I’m getting mad at peoples.

          • Baby_Raptor

Please refrain from telling me what I “expect.” I did not expect god to “give me everything,” nor did I expect him to “show up in person.”

I expected him to stop the abuse I was suffering in his name. Later, I begged him for any sign at all that he actually exists.

For someone who claims to “not want to push god on me” you sure did push god on me. If you respected the fact that I’m not interested in your god you wouldn’t pretend that you knew how I thought about him, nor would you preach at me about what you think he can do.

I’ll give you a small amount of credit, though. You were way less insulting than most of the people who’ve ignored my plainly stated lack of interest in religion here.

          • Stewb

Before you try to take on the bible, read it first. the reason why he allows all that crap to happen is because of sin, the whole point of the bible is love, thats why jesus died on the cross for everyone including yourself. God gave his son up so you can live pretty much, i doubt you would give up your son. Also Jesus was a real person, there is actual evidence to back me up, but your just talking rubbish. THe bible is a historical document, and if you disagree, get a reality check up.

          • Bella

Baby raptor, I know I’m late in responding and you wrote this post a year ago, but I only just came upon this article today. You probably will never read this comment, but I’m gonna post it anyway. I apologize. On behalf of Christians, and others who have hurt you, I apologize.
You just poured your heart out in the comment above. You opened yourself up and were vulnerable. You spoke of years of abuse and pain when you didn’t feel heard. I want you to know I hear you. And I hear the anger, and pain. And in return it seemed your words fell on deaf ears here. I can’t imagine the pain you’ve endured in your lifetime because you didn’t really expound on it here, but it sounds like you cried out over and over again for help and it never came.
You deserve to feel loved, and respected, and honored. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to try to have an open conversation but feel like the very people who claim to be loving are not even trying to understand where you’re coming from. And when you point that out, you get defensiveness in return.
I just want you to know I hear you, and I see you, and I acknowledge you. You have a right to your perspective, and I respect you.
I am a Christian. AND I know I live by two rules: love God, and love people. That’s it! True love is patient, is kind, and seeks peace. I commend you for coming on here and trying to open conversation when you KNEW you had a differing perspective than Deon’s audience. I don’t believe you were trolling, I believe you were genuinely trying to open a conversation. I just wish we could have this conversation in person because written words sometimes are so restrictive.
Anyway, wherever you are, just know that today someone heard you. And even though I have a different perspective, I do believe in God, and in the Bible, and in Jesus, I also respect your voice and appreciate you having the courage to speak your truth.

          • Baby_Raptor

Thank you. Really. I appreciate that you’re able to listen to someone disagree without having a small meltdown over it. I also appreciate that you were able to talk to me without telling me I did something wrong.

          • Bella

That’s how it should be. Love you brother <3

          • KC

Amazing response! #Christianity. That is true love and what so many are missing in their life, more people need to hear and spread that message.

          • cccc

            Go away then

          • Baby_Raptor

I’d like to but idiots like you keep responding to me over a year later.

        • Americandream11

BTW~ why do gays push their lifestyle on the world, and you KNOW they do!! Even to our preschoolers!! Yeah, don’t even try to deny it, as it is talked about openly on the gay websites, and in all their seminars!!

          • Baby_Raptor

No, we don’t. We don’t have “seminars” and we don’t teach preschoolers anything except “Don’t hate others simply because they aren’t like you.” And demanding equal treatment to what everyone else already gets isn’t “pushing our life on the world.”

By the way, why is it okay to brainwash children with your religion but it isn’t okay to teach them that different people aren’t evil? Why is it okay for Christians to force their religion on people via law?

Why are these bad when you’re pretending we’re doing it and righteous when you do it? You might want to actually READ your holy book…Your imaginary friend had some very not nice words to say about hypocrites like you.

          • Jon

You don’t… yet if you don’t get your parade, you protest, shout and scream discrimination… Three years ago, people wanted to have my town mayor thrown out because they didn’t let them have their parade during another town event so yes, you do push your lifestyles on other people (maybe not you specifically… though your posts lead me to believe you do, but the group as a whole).

          • Baby_Raptor

If “yet if you don’t get your parade, you protest, shout and scream discrimination” is “pushing your lifestyle on people” then how are Christians not the biggest hypocrites in the world for whining about this?

The LGB people in your town wanted to be allowed to have their parade. They didn’t demand that you, the mayor, or anyone else participate in it.

On the other hand, let’s look at some Christian behavior. You want to legally forbid SSM and punish it. You want laws requiring prayer in schools and demanding that specific things about your religion be taught. You want abortion outlawed because you think your book demands it. You get in a giant tizzy when someone tells you “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”. You insist that you should have the right to refuse to provide service for anyone whose “lifestyle” conflicts with your beliefs, while at the same time howling to the moon about discrimination every time a person so much as looks at you funny.

If it’s not okay when LGB people do it then it’s not okay when you do it either. Go give yourself a refresher on what Jesus said about hypocrisy.

          • Jon

“The LGB people in your town wanted to be allowed to have their parade. They didn’t demand that you, the mayor, or anyone else participate in it.”

Actually they did, they wanted the mayor to pretty much step down and then when the election happened, they protested, shouted, blocked the streets telling people to not vote for him.

As for laws requiring prayer in schools? Please give me a source for that. The most I can think of is when school ban it and threaten suspension for people praying, you have Christians protesting that prayer should be allowed but still, not forced.

For the “Happy Holidays” and such, you actually see more people getting offended and making a statement about people saying “Merry Christmas” more than Christians giving a response to “Happy Holidays.”

You need to get your facts straight, until then, you’re not worth anyone’s time.

          • Baby_Raptor

I’d be interested in seeing where you get your “facts.” Can you show me a single case of people being suspended merely for praying in a school?

By the way, did you know that Donald Trump wants to make it a law that people can only say “Merry Christmas”? And people love him for it. Who cares about beliefs, or free speech, or any other right? Evangelical Christians expect to be told “Merry Christmas” and that’s that.

          • T0m0

You pushed your luck and it worked.
As long as you are your king were willing to fight against the rights of others in the name of your imaginary Supreme being, all you did was restrict yourself.

          • Midnight_my_puppy

I said before to that complaining about lgbtq pushing their lifestyle if it bshouldn’tbe allowed then woman shouldn’t billowed to complain about their rights and neither should Jew’s, black people or first nations becausI’m pretty sure they do the same things. Seriously though this why I prefer being catholic if I went to a Christian school or church I couldn’t handle it. I mean at my school we have a whole week month dedicated to lgbtq with posters signs and on the main day we have a thugeithingtinthe gym at lunch with different stations.

          • T0m0

AmericanDream? Lol, It is not a ‘lifestyle’, but organized religion is.
It is also a form of indoctrination.

          • T0m0

Why do religious zealots push their lifestyle on the world.
Homosexuality is not a choice and therefor not a lifestyle choice.
Religion is a choice and what you choose to wear to church is a choice and what you do with your girl when you are naked is also a choice.
Homophobia may not be a choice, but you will have to work that out for yourself.

        • asspwnedurmum

All people should have equal rights regardless but when gay people want marriage its a different thing entirely, marriage is a religous act period and I can not think of one religion that says being gay is ok so all I have to say is dont let gay people disrespect my religion or god by asking for rights to get married. You want to be recognised as a couple do what me and my wife do, we let people know we are together.

          • Baby_Raptor

Marriage was never religious. It’s not religious now, religion did not create it, religion does not own it.

People can CHOOSE to make their weddings religious but to actually be married you have to go through the government. Merely going to a church and having the pastor say words will not legally marry you.

“Your religion” and “your god” are YOUR OPINIONS. Nobody is “disrespecting them” by using their rights to live life as they believe themselves. Stop caring so much about what perfect strangers do and this problem will solve itself.

By the way, do you live in the United States?

          • asspwnedurmum

Would you care to share your point of view where marriage originated from?, not looking for an arguement, just curious on your opinion.

Why do you insist on projecting your sacrilege on everyone. Not believing does not make you immune from mocking our God.
Please learn, not everything revolves around the LGBT. You do nothing but make yourselves look bad when you insist on stealing and defiling a religious symbol that clearly is used to mock and disregard Christianity. Stop using our rainbow, God’s unique creation, then playing the victims when you get called out for it.

      • T0m0

Not believing does not make you immune from mocking our God.
Please learn, not everything revolves around the LGBT.
        YOU MAKE NO SENSE.
THIS IS A STORY ATTACKING LGBT, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
        YOU LOGIC IS FAULTY.

        • Kara

This IS NOT a “story attacking LGBT”, it’s the gospel truth. LGBT are the only people on here I see attacking anyone. Gays attack anyone who isn’t afraid of them and isn’t afraid to stand and speak out against them. Well we DON’T FEAR YOU and we NEVER WILL. We will CONTINUE to SPEAK out and firmly STAND AGAINST your wicked “cause.”

Our GOD is greater than what you’ve all deluded yourselves into thinking you are. I fail to see the logic behind you coming to a Christian site and attacking the owner who IS a Christian for writing an article and stating the TRUTH. But God will have the final say in the end. And I can tell you that He WILL NOT be in defense of LGBT. We’ll see where the real logic begins and ends then.

          • piper

My thoughts exactly, Kara. Why do they come to Christian sites and attack us? Why? Because they are trying to ‘prove’ something…at all times…trying to ‘prove’ they are right, we are wrong, and vomit their hate on us. God loves them, as it ‘rains on the just and the unjust’, He loves them but despises their sin, as you know. But, you, like I, will not sit around and accept their attacks on us. If they do not care for what God has to tell them, we are to shake the dust off of our feet and move on. My heart breaks for them, knowing what is in store for them coming after their last dying breath.

        • Samuel Ciraulo

This historical fact not story is describing the significance of the rainbow which was significant to Judaism and Christianity for almost 5000 years before the LGBT community stole it and began using it to take pride in their sin.

          • T0m0

            Kara and Sam,
            Stole it?
Stole it from those who oppress LGBT based on a belief in a supreme being whose existence cannot be proven?
Stole it from people they have been killing and isolating for thousands of years.
LGBT are god’s children and they are standing stronger than ever and your hate will not keep them down.
Sorry, but you arrogance will be your downfall.
            Go and oppress yourself.

          • cccc

            Science says homosexuality is wrong.

          • T0m0

Science says that homophobia is a lifestyle choice.
            LGBT are perfectly natural.
Oh and Jesus is gay, I talk to him all the time, down at the gay bar, ‘The Last Supper’.

          • asspwnedurmum

The big bang theory is still a theory and still unproven. Do you believe in that?, the theory was written down on paper and read by many and believed. The big bang theory is the same as the bible, it is a piece of writting that you choose yourself to believe or not. I read a lot of disputes between religous and non religous people and the most offensive are non religous people because christians may disagree and write their point of view based on the bible while non religous people are generally abusive towards them or god and dont even bother to state science.

          • T0m0

The bible is not a theory. It is a bed time story to scare little children and isolate individuals who do not fit in.

          • Alias Darker

are you a theologian ? if not than I think it’s safe to say you don’t know what you’re talking about …

          • Midnight_my_puppy

IIt’s also significant to catholics but you don’t see us complaining and there is a difference between aChristiansand catholics. But at myschool candchurch we have a whole month we talk about lgbtq and wear rainbow on rainbow day and ahaveevaevent in the gym and in christian ethics we always talk about lgbtq rights and how they deserve them we also talk ababout how Christians aren’t accepting of lgbtq

          • Samuel Ciraulo

That is because most Catholics do not study the Bible, or they wouldn’t be Catholics.

      • piper

        Well, Very Well stated, Guest!

      • T0m0

Why do you insist on projecting your sacrilege on everyone else. Not believing in the rights of LGBT, means that you mock others in the name of God. You are the most wretched of all.

    • Abraão

When you reject to acknowledge God, you are saying He is a liar, and denies the worship He deserves. He is worthy of worship! You follow a lifestyle that denies Him, that rejects Him, that Hates Him!

Everything revolves around Jesus Christ, everything exists because of him, and was made to Him. So if you are not with Him then you are against Him.

Satan inspired this flag of the sodomite movement.

      • Baby_Raptor

Can you even comprehend that people exist separate from your world view?

I do not “reject to acknowledge” your god. I don’t “say he’s a liar.” I don’t “deny him worship.”

I don’t believe he exists. For me to do any of the things you’re accusing me of I’d have to think he’s up there somewhere first.

It never ceases to amaze me that Christians are supposedly the only moral people in the world and yet it’s Atheist “sodomites” like me who can manage basic respect for people, allow them to define their own existence and generally not be a raging jerk. You ever want to know why Christianity is dying? Look in the mirror. Very few people want to be associated with a religion that spends all their time abusing and disrespecting people and a god that allows it.

        • Faithful Christian

You don’t believe he exists? How did you come to that conclusion?

          • Baby_Raptor

If I tell you are you going to actually listen to me and believe me, or are you going to tell me I “didn’t look hard enough” and spout bible verses at me?

I’m not going to waste my time if it’s the latter. You’d just be adding to the proof and I don’t really feel like bringing up a subject that I’ve already made clear is painful (thanks for so casually ignoring that) just so you can spout empty theology at me, then pat yourself on the back for having “witnessed.”

          • Faithful Christian

I see, you have no argument.

          • Baby_Raptor

Asking if you’re actually going to listen instead of parroting theology is “no argument”?

Look, dude, if you don’t want to talk then just don’t answer me. Lying and disrespecting people are both sins according to your religion. That can’t be worth having the last word.

          • Truth Seeker

He’s telling the truth Baby_Raptor. Get ready for your great deluge.

          • Colloqui

The Sodomites didn’t believe in God either…

Then they got quashed without any mercy beyond warning.

Not here to judge, just to inform.

When you get a chance, the consequences of not taking it are solely yours to deal with.

            Merry Christmas.

        • Alcy

Hello! I would like to refer to this message you have conveyed, which really popped out to me: “It never ceases to amaze me that Christians are supposedly the only moral people in the world and yet it’s Atheist “sodomites” like me who can manage basic respect for people, allow them to define their own existence and generally not be a raging jerk. ”
I would just like to say I am very sorry, on behalf of Christians and myself, that you have met people (both of which that consider themselves Christians and those who do not) that have given you that view on Christians. Being a sensitive person, I would like to defend at least my church and my friends by telling you that in our sermons, we try our best to have nothing but love for everyone. We do not teach ourselves to disrespect others and hate on those who are against our beliefs. Actually, my pastor once dedicated a whole sermon on his views on gays and how we should treat them (which is with love, of course.) I understand this will not change your view on Christians, and it is not my goal to do so. However, please know that not all of us are how you think we are, and many of those who act as you say are not truly following the word of God.

Thank you for reading this, I will most likely not reply, so I hope the rest of your life is peaceful and filled with joy, despite the suffering you have gone through.

“Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 1 John 3:15-16”

          • Baby_Raptor

Hey, do me a favour: Detach from your normal way of thinking and re-read this comment.

You read a long string of comments of Christians abusing someone who has already suffered abuse in the name of Christianity and your response is to type out 3 paragraphs defending the abuser. You’re hurt that I have a negative view of Christianity because it and it’s adherents have abused me so instead of lecturing the abusers you lecture ME on how you’re “not all like that.”

What did you hope to accomplish here? If it was softening my view on your religion you utterly failed. All you did was show your priorities: Defend yourself and your beliefs no matter what is put in front of you.

          • Alcy

Haha, I guess it’s my fault I wrote such a long comment, I’m sorry if you missed this portion of my text: “I understand this will not change your view on Christians, and it is not my goal to do so.” My priorities were just to let you know, not all Christians are how you label them. And I’m sorry if you think I was lecturing you, that also wasn’t my goal.

I ask this question out of curiosity: Why do you go on a Christian page, where there are obviously going to be Christian views, especially when you considered them your abusers?

          • Lennie

            Poor me baby

          • Baby_Raptor

Poor you what? I’m the one talking here.

        • Alberto Chanelo

Its all because of sin. Sin is what seperates from god. In the beginning, when god created us as perfect beings and promising us to never die and telling us not to eat the forbidden fruit then the devil deceived the 1st human beings making us disobey our own creator then the 1st human beings had to die when it was our time but instead killed a lamb in our place, allowing us sinners to live, then having the devil to take the position of adam to be the god of the world by giving us natural disasters and disease, but god is still the god of everything. He allowed the devil to live for a test for mankind to see whether we trust in him, god, or the deciever like a father wanting to see whether his children trust in him or not. After many years of disobedience, god sent HIS OWN SON to shed his blood on the cross for us sinners instead of him destroying the whole world in one blow. THINK ABOUT IT, WOULD YOU PREFER AN EVIL GOD? BECAUSE IN THE CASE OF ISLAM. Their god commands to kill everybody who arent muslim and rape woman and make slaves and blow themselves up and have armies.

          • Baby_Raptor

The Christian god isn’t any better.

Adam and Eve had no concept of good and evil. They completely lacked the ability to understand why disobeying god was wrong. Punishing Adam and Eve was like if you decide to smack your newborn infant for crying.

Then god took it even further and decided that everyone who will ever exist gets to suffer because of what these two people did.

And keep in mind that your god *deliberately* created Adam and Eve this way then *deliberately* set them up to fall.

No thanks. Not my god, not my problem. Your beliefs, your life. Quit pretending he applies to me. Your god is not “god of everything.” See again my comments about managing basic respect for non-believers and accepting that people live outside your world view.

But since we’re talking about Muslims being evil…Go read your own book. Your god routinely demanded that people be killed for not believing in him. He routinely told people to take unwilling virgins as “war prizes.” He demanded that rape victims marry their rapists. He purposely made Pharaoh unable to obey him and then punished all of Egypt for what Pharoah was incapable of doing thanks to him. And all of that is just in the few first books of the bible. Your god isn’t any better than Alah.

This is a Christian site, with Christian content. If you don’t want Christian content, don’t come to Christian sites.

      • Baby_Raptor

If it was a “Christian site with Christian content” then I’d think you’d be agreeing with me about respecting people and generally not being a jerk. Jesus told you to love people and treat them as you wanted to be treated…I seriously doubt anyone here would want someone of a differing religion running around talking to them the way I’ve been spoken to here.

    • Kara

Um, this is HIS site and HE’S a Christian. If you don’t want His religion projected unto you STAY OFF HIS site and go back to your own domain. Don’t come into MY Christian brothers and sisters territory and start wars with them over THEIR beliefs. Next time stay on YOUR domain. Homosexuality is a SIN and and ABOMINATION. We’re NOT afraid of gay people and if you have a problem with OUR GOD counting homosexuality as a sin, take it up with HIM. But I assure you that it’s a battle you WILL NOT win. You ARE mocking my Heavenly Father by using the rainbow as a symbol of the vile gay lifestyle which it IS NOT and NEVER will be a representation of.

      • Baby_Raptor

Yes, yes, I get it. Projection onto unwilling people is all you have.

Remind me again how loving you are and why I want your god?

        • piper

Baby Raptor, start in the New Testament. Read through it…Some do not know where to start…Read through the New Testament in the Holy Bible…there are many versions of denominational Bibles…Steer clear of those, and get the Holy Bible…not Catholic, not Lutheran, etc… Get a easy to understand (New International Version, ESV, etc) Bible and read through. My favorite book is John. Oh, and Romans, too. You may want to start there. I am sorry to hear many you sought out denied assisting you whether it be by listening to you or showing you true love. I have run into the same thing in my life, as I have even talked to some Pastor’s and have had disagreements with, and walked away feeling empty. Then, after reading the Bible, I knew my feelings were validated. God wanted me to find out for myself. He wanted ME! And that is why I gave Him my heart. He wants you, too…otherwise He would not have directed you to this site. You may wanted to argue with us, but God wanted to show you this site for the good of it. It is your choice now, and have always been, how you want to respond to Him, and Him alone.

          • Baby_Raptor

See, this is *exactly* what I meant when I said people were just going to tell me I did it wrong.

I’ve read the bible cover to cover. twice. Nothing in it appealed to me. None of the good stuff is original and a lot of it is horrible.

God sent me to this website so I could be told what a perverted freak I am, be insulted repeatedly, be ignored and be lied about, and generally just be stomped on? Why would I consider that love? Why would I want anything to do with a god that allows that?

          • asspwnedurmum

You dont believe in god but you say he sent you here?

          • Baby_Raptor

T hat’s not at all what I said. That was me telling the person I responded to what their claims sound like to someone who doesn’t buy into their belief system already.

          • asspwnedurmum

            Fair enough

    • Faithful Christian

If you don’t want Christian content, why do you enjoy looking at Christian content so much?

      • Baby_Raptor

Who said I was enjoying it? I came to this page once a year ago to see the “proof” the OP supposedly had. As usual, it was more of nothing.

It’s now been a year and people are still lecturing me. So I answer all of you through my notifications pane, shake my head, thank myself for leaving your religion and not ending up like you and then go about my life.

Why did you avoid my question?

    • Jon

I am pretty sure you made the choice to come here.

      • Baby_Raptor

So if you choose to go to a website then you won’t complain about a bunch of people telling you that you worship an imaginary sky daddy and that you’re a delusional idiot who needs a therapist?

Or does this weird “You chose to come to this website so you lost all right to be treated with respect” thing only apply to non-Christians reading Christian blogs?

        • Jon

I personally won’t care. If I have a problem with it, I won’t go and waste my time to go there. Why would I create problems for myself wasting my time making bait posts spewing hatred?

          • Baby_Raptor

Disagreeing with you and demanding that I be treated with respect is “hate spewing”?

Man, the need to be persecuted runs deep…

    • Nobody

I distain gay lifestyle, but I show tolerance.

This is a post that YOU SOUGHT OUT to criticize, but before you reach for your keyboard and type a baleful response, ask yourself:

Why did you come to this page?

      • Baby_Raptor

Do you actually have a response to my question?

  • Jason Wayne Hough

The hubris of this article aside, your depiction of the verses would seem to imply rainbows did not exist prior to the flood. The verses refer to one rainbow that appeared as a covenant…not all rainbows in general. Furthermore, other than being mentioned in Scripture, it has never been held as a primary or even particularly important symbol of God or Christianity, historically.

  • Lars Klerk

Maybe you belong to the large %e of Americans that never set foot outside us soil and havent seen the real world that is out there. Places that, unlike your imaginairy thought-world, you can actually touch, see & smell. For that I forgive you.

Less considerate I am with the utter nonsense you proclaim and spread amongst your followers who (reading most of the comments) have no skills in fact checking whatsoever.

For instance, there is this city called Cuzco (Peru) which inhabits a couple of hundred thousand people. They have a (Catholic) church on almost every streetcorner. And its inhabitants are devoted Christians. So no harm here right?

See, problem is that since a very long time they have this offical flag, on which they are very proud and is found waving on lots and lots of (official) buildings.
You guessed right! Its the rainbowflag…

So whats wrong with these people who worship the exact imaginairy friend in the sky as you do? Should we all smithe or stone them to death as those deserve who did the unthinkable thing of eating shrimps?

Pls people. Use your (god given?) brain. And educate yourself and do not let utter nonsense clowd your thoughts or opinions.

Just one click and you know this “rainbowflag = anti god” , is a BS story of the first category.

Because this flag has a loooonnnng history…

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_flag

  • David Mansfield

If you are idiotic enough to actually believe that the entire earth flooded, there is no reasoning with you. Also, science explains why rainbows occur. So, get over yourselves.

    • Faithful Christian

It’s actually very logical. Mt. Everest has water erosion and sea fossils. Makes sense, there was a Great Flood. Also, the Great Pyramid has water erosion inside and outside, perhaps it was built before the Great Flood.

      • Michael

        lol

    • Locux

But science is a set of rules set in place by God, so even if science couldn’t prove it, it doesn’t need to if God can.

  • Judy Adkins Hill

how ignorant and abjectly christianist. the rainbow flag was originally used in San Francisco in the early 1970s in reference to Judy Garland’s song “Over the Rainbow” from “The Wizard of Oz.” it is the symbol of acceptance, tolerance, and inclusivity. for anyone to claim they speak for G*d is the height of insanity – surely G*d can speak for himself if he doesn’t approve. however, since a DOUBLE rainbow shone over Dublin when Ireland made gay marriage legal, it would seem that, indeed, G*d has spoken and GRANDLY APPROVES.

    • Faithful Christian

Another angry atheist trying to hold their worldview together by attacking Christians. Ugh…

      • Mary Goodson

YOU are a perfect example of everything I DESPISE about Christianity. You’ve mocked everyone who expressed an opinion, you’ve belittled everyone, you’re arrogant and rude.

Christians like you are evil. PURE evil.

        • Faithful Christian

Why are you talking about atheists?

          • Mar Mar Tran

Why are you talking about Christians?

          • Faithful Christian

            I’m not.

          • Mar Mar Tran

She is right Christians are evil. They use the existence of ‘God’ to justify their actions as they harass and mock everyone. And you have no proof atheists are evil. I have some atheist friends and they’re the nicest people I met in my entire life.

          • Faithful Christian

No proof that atheists are evil? Look at Joseph Stalin, Kim Jong-Un, Kim Jong-Il, Kim Il-Sung, Mao Zedong, etc.

            The list goes on.

        • Faithful Christian

          How have I belittled? Explain.

        • Overcomer

You should re-read your comment and repost…
To “despise”= feel contempt or a deep repugnance for.
Synonyms include: detest, HATE, loathe, etc.
And if you are WITHOUT sins, then by all means, CASTE THE FIRST STONE!!!!!

        • Overcomer

          Other wise….get in line.

    • Overcomer

Do you even know what a “Rainbow” is? And if so? How did it appear? And who do you think placed it ever so elegantly in the sky? It definitely was placed waaaaaaay before LGBT was even thought of…..
      Get your life…..right.

  • Americandream11

Deon, I think you are my new ‘best friend’! WELL said, my brother in CHRIST!!!

  • Roland Maurer

The idea that gays using the rainbow is a way of mocking the Biblical God borders on, nay, IS, stupidity. At any rate, it shows how a fringe of Christians childishly think everything in the world has to revolve around, or take into account, their personal faith — a faith not shared by BILLIONS of people on earth, just in case none of you had realized this. Rainbows have existed on earth for four billions of years or so, way before there were men around to bicker about their cherished gods or sexual orientations. The rainbow, spectacular as it is, has captured the imagination of many cultures. As a symbol, it is NOT a personal possession of Christians. Thinking this is pure bigotry. If you want to be ignorant bigots, well, so be it. It is true that ridicule does not kill.

    • Faithful Christian

So, we’re bigots if we don’t agree with you? Ha. By the way, if you don’t want Christian content, don’t come to Christian sites. Or, are you an angry atheist trying to hold your crumbling worldview together by attacking random Christians?

      • Mar Mar Tran

Or are you an angry Christian who is trying to hold your crumbling religious views together by attacking some random people?

        • Faithful Christian

          My views definitely aren’t crumbling.

          • Overcomer

The Bible predicted the entire timeline of Alexander the Great’s empire, from beginning to end, over 100 years before Alexander the Great was even born. YHWH(God) authenticated Himself by writing history before it happens.

Beth, do a little more searching in the bible and you will see that women did not fare well under the yoke if Christianity. You are sheep asking for a halter or the slaughterhouse.

  • DodgerCyan

This article is hilariously inane and misses every point.

    • Faithful Christian

      Then don’t read it.

      • Michael

Why wouldn’t you read something hilarious?

  • Gregory Peterson

You will say absolutely anything to defame Gay people, won[t you?

    • asspwnedurmum

Why quote a racists point of view?. You just made a point of view no one is going to listen too because as soon as you said that a racist once said (*insert your statement here) you just proved your source of information was from a non christian and arguing its what christians believe.

      • Gregory Peterson

This wasn’t A single racist’s point of view. This was the point of view almost every conservative white adult Evangelical well into my own lifetime.

For instance, this was the point of view of the co-founder and first executive editor of Christianity Today, Dr. L. Nelson Bell, Billy Graham’s father in law and Franklin Graham’s grandfather.

This was the point of view of most of the Jim Crow state elected and appointed government officials and signers of the Southern Manifesto.

This was the point of view published in the widely used by Pentecostals, Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible, from 1963 until 1999. “30 Reasons for Segregation of Races. Acts 17:26,” which is still circulating on racist websites.

Inerrancy and literalism have a long, lethal and very sordid white supremacist history in America. Why are white Evangelicals and Pentecostal still defending the indefensible? What they’re defending is still unearned privilege at the expense of others.

        • Brad F

          Ignorant pansy.

          You’re senile.

  • T0m0

1 man on the planet who found favor in God’s eyes … Noah.

So … gays stole the rainbow from one of your biblical stories that were written centuries after Jesus walked the earth?
So what about the idea of monotheism.
It occurred many times before your christian god showed up.
    Did you steal that ideal?
You make the rainbow sound like intellectual property.
Are you going to sue LGBTs for taking it away from you?

    • JAY

Lol…… God destroyed those people by flood and made the Rainbow way before Jesus was born according to the bible…. Even if you don’t believe in God, get the order of the story straight before making a comment………

You claimed it was written centuries after Christmas walked the earth but according to the Bible it was way before he was even born……..

      • T0m0

        Prove it.

  • Baby_Raptor

So I note that at least one of my comments is marked “moderated” and two that I KNOW I typed up have disappeared.

Why’s that, blog owner? Can you not handle the victims of your lies calling you out on your crap?

I’ll say it again and see if it disappears this time: The world does not revolve around US Christians. Quit pretending it does. Even if you can pretend that a weather phenomenon has meaning to your religion it does NOT make said religion the sole owner of it. We are not “mocking your god” when we use the rainbow.

Please learn that not everything revolves around you. We are not mocking your imaginary friend. Quit taking people who want nothing to do with your beliefs and forcing us into your persecution complex. Your life cannot possibly suck so badly that you need to feel threatened by someone living out beliefs that contradict yours.

    In short, grow up already.

    • Stewb

Ha Funny you say that mate. you say you are not mocking us bet then you go and call him our imaginary friend. If you can give me one reason why our ‘imaginary friend’ is not real then your point is half valid but for now shut your trap because you are are only gonna get schooled.

      • Baby_Raptor

Schooling me requires fact, dear. It also requires me accepting that I’m wrong. You can’t just puke up a bunch of theology and pat yourself on the back.

I’ve already explained why I do not believe god is real.

8 months ago I wasn’t mocking you. Now that I’ve had to deal with condescending jerks deliberately ignoring everything I’ve said and disrespecting me repeatedly I’m going to mock the heck out of you. Respect is earned and far from earning it; you lot have told me that treating me like dog poo is “Christian content” to be expected.

        • Lennie

Interesting. Apply that logic from God’s POV. You know maybe he was testing your inner strength. Maybe seeing if you could over come adversity.
I think your here looking for answer’s.
          Try praying.

          • Baby_Raptor

“god let you suffer 19 years of life-destroying abuse to see if you’re strong. It was a test. Now that you’ve passed that test without any assistance from him whatsoever you should love him and thank him!” Really? Nope. I’m not into abuse.

And no, I’m not “here looking for answer’s.” I have a suggestion, though: Raise your IQ high enough to manage basic English before you try reading perfect strangers’ minds. Being smarter might help.

        • Lennie

I never finished high school, my sister’s boyfriend back from combat burned down two of our homes when she broke up with him because of his violent nature. But thanks for the insult, you don’t even know me. Yes your really something.

          • Baby_Raptor

You don’t know me either and yet you feel free to say all sorts of insulting stuff. Maybe you should remind yourself what Jesus said about hypocrisy. At least I stuck of obvious fact.

    • Lennie

Your just “a poor me baby”

      • Baby_Raptor

Says the guy commenting on a website where the moderator refuses to post comments because they contain facts he doesn’t like and 99% of the commentary immediately jumps to dehumanizing anyone who doesn’t agree.

        • Lennie

It’s his sight. Start your own. Wow, five replies you sent me. Lol. Move along nothing to see here. 🙂

          • Baby_Raptor

Um, I replied to every comment you left me. Incase you can’t math that means you sent me 5 replies first. But somehow it only means something bad about me?

  • Grace

The ‘rainbow’ that is used for their identification is not the same as the one designed/created by GOD to signify His Covenant with His people. It’s a subtle but very significant difference! If you can find it, it will give you a peace beyond ‘earthly’ understanding! +

  • COJC7

Also worth noting… the sodomites use six colors, the number of a man (Rev. 13:18), while God’s rainbow has seven colors (ROYGBIV) Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.

The more they try to obscure, the more they reveal themselves.

  • My dear Christian friend,

I challenge you to watch this short, provocative video clip regarding the morality of your God’s act of killing little children in Noah’s flood. If at the end of viewing this video clip you can still say that your God and your belief system are moral and good, I will strongly and sincerely encourage you to see a mental health professional.

  • Patrick

Im not even going to enter a debate on this subject, but the one thing I will say outright is the author of this article sounds like He is coming from a place which in so far as “God” as far as I know doesnt have the same frame of reference that this author is claiming his god has. As for seminars, gay attempting to convert straight people to homosexuality this sounds really by far completely stupid.
I would ask the author to cite where and when such recruitment is occurring but to me the discussion is ridiculous. We as human being in America have the basic right to have whatever opinion we want to have. My opinion is valid for me, the author of this article is also allowed his opinion. What is so curious to me is the amount of time people spend forming and making attacks on other people based on their own personal fear. 80% of the time historically in the end we end up finding out these same people are closeted homosexuals or at least the type of people who are secretly fantasizing
in their own heads about homosexual activity that they would like to participate in. The defense taken is to attack the gay community and make ridiculous accusations that defiantly seem believable to those who arent familiar with gay persons. Religion has been used as a basis for attempting to do a witch hunt on ideas different from our own. Religion and the bible has many interpretations and its words can be twisted to mold what our definition and opinions. God created us in his image, judgement isnt anything I can feel a human being is really capable of. Judgement day will arrive for me when I am in front of God at the end of my time here on Earth. He is the only one who is fully capable of judging me and my actions gay or otherwise.
The most ignorant part of this entire idea of gay people is that they are not all similar, not all of them go to this gay pride parade. Not all of them live lives that you can specifically make accurate generalizations to pin point how they live life. One thing for sure is that religious persons have a habit of going out of thier way to attempt to make people who are not carbon copies of them feel out of place. For me this discussion is over, I have no follow up to contribute as this discussion is a mute point from this point on.

  • Patrick

I have to say after further reading Im of the opinion my post is time wasted, there are too many ignorant people commenting with stupid accusations and judgments what they forget is it isnt their place to judge anyone, clean your house before you set out to change others.

  • john

“The purpose of this article is not to promote violence or other negative gestures against those of the homosexual community”

    LIARS.

  • T0m0

Wow! Some one sure is taking things personal.
I could of sworn that you cannot copyright the rainbow.
The idea of the rainbow for the LGBT is that everyone belongs, as opposed to finger pointing Christians who use an imaginary sky god whose existence cannot be proven to oppress other people.
Organized religion is a sick thing.

  • T0m0

Did you know that the ‘Gay-Pride’ Flag Actually Mocks God? See How| Biblical History
Did you know that Christians use an imaginary sky god, whose existence cannot be proven, to oppress others for thousands of years including minorities, women, children and LGBT.
Did you know that the slave belt and the bible belt are the same place?

PLEASE LEARN TO THINK FOR YOURSELVES.

  • Mildred

Excellent article! Was wanting to read more.

  • Abraão

This is exactly what I was saying to a friend. That the sodomite movement uses the rainbow flag to mock God, even if almost none of then know that today. They are inspired by Satan himself. But you should notice that the sodomite flag is composed by six colors and the true rainbow by seven.

Satan is behind this, he is saying: I did it again, I make the humans go astray again in the delusion of their hearts.

  • Faithful Christian

Here come the angry atheists. They try to hold their crumbling worldview together by attacking Christians. But, have no fear. They cannot back up any of their ridiculous allegations.

  • Michael

Yep, it’s always about you. You poor, poor victims.

  • Mutali

How about the Illegal State of Apartheid Israel who Promote Gay Pride and Gay Mafia of Eurovision Song Contest ??

  • Vignesh jack

This story can be interpreted in a positive way too
After Noah offered sacrifices to the God , the God realized they are humans & it doesn’t matter whom they love or get attracted to or sleep with.
God realized that being homosexuals are not evil
It’s their choice & they are also human beings
Maybe that’s why he promised he will never flood again & created that Rainbow to show that all humans are different just as the different Rainbow colors
It gives a message that we should treat homosexuals as equal as heterosexuals
See how the rainbow colors are equally created to show the unity in diversity of human beings

  • Vignesh jack

The Rainbow created by God gives us the message that: HUMANS ARE DIFFERENT FROM EACH JUST AS THE DIFFERENT RAINBOW COLORS
WE SHOULD TREAT EVERY HUMAN BEING INCLUDING HOMOSEXUALS EQUALLY
JUST AS THE GOD HAS CREATED THE RAINBOW COLOR EQUALLY
THIS Story shows that God later realised that all human beings & thus created the Rainbow
It also shows that God believes in EQUALITY & UNITY In DIVERSITY of Human beings

  • piper

Right on, Mr. Deon! I would often think the same as you, and you spelled it out here better than I could. The rainbow flag IS mocking God when the perverse use it to promote their way of life. Kudo’s to you for speaking out!

  • Mar Mar Tran

I thought God loved everyone. I guess the church told me wrong.

  • Mar Mar Tran

Can’t wait to see you there.

  • vandana910

I am a Christian and believe me, the article doesn’t even sound logical. It is just a connection made to create hatred and judging people who are struggling.

Why are we so scared that every little pin that is raised without our understanding is against God. This reminds me of the phrase, ‘In the beginning, man created God in his own image.’

To me, this article seems to be a mockery to God.

  • Karen Lewis

Yes, the rainbow colors mock God’s promise to Noah and the cross also mocks God. It is a pagan Rome, torture device. People kiss it, wear it, bow down to it, pray to it. The LGBT Bible mocks God three ways. 1) the use of the rainbow colors, 2) putting a rainbow cross on the cover, 3) Changing the words in the book as not to condemn them.

  • Samuel Ciraulo

This is a very true post I would only add that God destroyed the world for more than just the sinfulness of man, there was another reason. God saved Noah because noah found grace in Gods eyes but also because Noah was perfect in his generation.
The bloodline of Jesus was becoming compromised because of the sons of God (angels) mating with women which was corrupting bloodlines.

And I don’t care if the LGBT community knows or not it is very offensive for them to use the rainbow as their banner when the rainbow signifies that God won’t destroy the world again… using the rainbow to take pride in sin when the rainbow is signifying Gods mercy is quite disgusting.

  • T0m0

And god saw the rainbow flag displayed by the LGBT and he saw it was good.

For the rest of you, go and oppress your selves and your own.
And stop breeding like a virus intent on killing its host.
You are shameful in the eyes of the lord.

  • Guest

This is a great article for those who did not realize that the rainbow was a symbol from the biblical times to represent God’s promise to us. I wore rainbow colors all the time before I realized it was also a LGBT symbol. Unfortunately, many people thought I was gay :/.. Now wearing rainbow colors is not as pleasent as it once was. However, I still wear it at times because I can always correct people, not everyone who wears rainbow colors is LGBT.

  • Reprobate mind

And it is for this reason GOD gave them over to a reprobate mind, HE HIMSELF gave up on them does anyone saved really think your gonna stop them if the very God they claim to love gave up on them. The Motto ; God is still speaking is a mockery HE already spoke read the book of Romans and save yourself you cannot continue to sexually assault yourselfves and think GOD is gonna let you enter Heaven it simply doesn’t work that way no matter how much you pervert Gods words if this were true then there would be no such thing as SIN and no need for salvation or repentance. Please stop (((Mocking))) JESUS you filthy sodomites…!!!!!!!!

  • Michael Hurwitz

An interesting point, the “gay pride” rainbow has 6 colors, further mocking God. The Creator’s rainbow holds 7 colors, the number of perfection, all unified as “white light;” purity and perfection. The “Gay Pride” flag was also adopted on the sixth day of the week within the sixth month, on the twenty-sixth day. God bless you according to His will, peace and abundant joy in your heart, living in love of our Lord and His creation. Mercy be upon our brothers and sisters. Amen

Another picture of Christian morality: Lying about a stranger having a life threatening disease for giggles.

  • Dan Frontier

Nice post about your vain assed self, Deon. Oh, and did I mention ignorant?

  • Bruce J Hunsaker

There is more . The sodomite flag is only 6 colors.

Revelation 13;8 tells us 6 is the number of man.

    Noahs Bow has 7 colors . 7 is God’s perfect number .

Now what is interesting is the beast( a man ) that Rev 13 is talking about does not like woman according to Daniel.

Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

  • Nigel St.Pierre

    Deon,

You are spot on correct. Please keep posting articles like this – you did it an a tasteful way. Not in a way to discriminate anyone but simply to educate.

People without the holy spirit will not be able to see the truth in what you write and it’s our duty to inform and help others understand the truth.

The rainbow is one of the (probably the) most beautiful naturally occurring event we can witness and once you know the background of it it’s all the more great.

Deon does not post this article in an anti-gay way but by all means if any God fearing and believing person stumbles across this article know that it is the truth.

  • Mykell Hudson

Mr. Deon, I thoroughly enjoyed the truth in this article. I appreciate your willingness to stand for righteousness and in right standing with our True and Living God that we serve. Being a friend of God has been a life changing experience for me and I do give God the Glory. When we all come into the knowledge of our Living God, that’s when life begins for us and that’s where benefits are released to us. Thank you for breaking down the truth for us and releasing the knowledge to those that lack knowledge. God hates the sin but he loves the sinner and your article was released out of love for God’s creation, again, those that lack knowledge of truth. Also this article serves as a reminder to God’s people that His Word, in this Day that we live is fulfilling itself. Prophecies are coming to pass, this issue should not take the Body of Christ by Surprise. God Bless you and yours and may God continue to strengthen you in all that you put your hands to do, it shall prosper in Jesus Name.

  • Lennie

People drive you because you lack backbone . It’s called faith for a reason.

    • Baby_Raptor

It takes backbone to believe what someone tells you to believe without any proof and against a bunch of facts? Okay, yeah. That makes sense. Stubbornness and backbone are often considered synonyms.

But I’ll keep my lack of “faith,” thanks. This website has shown me what faith does to people and I am in no way interested in becoming like anyone here. I prefer human decency, truth and a reliance on reality.

  • 15Prettylittleliar

Omg you people stil believe everything that the Bible says?????? I mean, you have the right to believe in a god there is no problem with that, however, the rainbow is created by the refraction, reflection and dispersion of white light in the water droplets of the rain and it has nothing to do with a contract.
It’s obvious that you lack of critical thinking. Not everything in the Bible is literal.

  • Mark

The rainbow flag mocking God? Well thank you Jesus for the christian in the crowd to point out that the ‘immoral homosexuals’ are mocking God with our colorful little banner. Well isn’t that special. That’s a pretty long judgey reach you have there, all the way back to Noah and the first cruise. A little shout out to my peeps in the cruiseline industry…Can I get a Woop Woop you folks have come a long way in modernizing the onboard accomodations since that first cruise. That day didn’t come soon enough if you ever had to use the ONE bathroom onboard after the elephants. And finding qualified staff had to be, well, impossible, what with the ongoing apocalypse and genocidal slaughter of all life on earth except for Noah, his family and two lucky bastards of each kind of animal. How was that one decided? Lottery? I bet it was the old golden ticket in a chocolate bar Willy Wonka raffle scam, am I right?
But back to the mocking at hand. A rainbow was God’s contract with man promising to hold off all genocidal slaughtering of all life until after God has his coffee in the morning. I see creating anger management classes was a good idea. He can be very smiteful when he wakes up, I think he’s more of a night person myself. So, this rainbow, was it really a contract, or more of a promise? A valid, lawful binding contract must be printed on paper and signed by all parties. God did create lawyers did he not? Totally his idea. Just where is this contract? Since you’re so quick to quote from it perhaps you could post this signed contract as a valid reference point from which you can stand on and point your superior than tho bony finger at everyone that didn’t drink the kool aid.
Until such time that a valid contract, signed by all parties is posted (rainbows are not permissable) you are doing nothing but the devils work in stiring up hate and fear against the easy minority in the room, just like its been done since the begining. Same old hate, nothing new here. Perhaps you would find bridge building to be a far better use of your time, leave any judging to God.

End world wide lion hunger – feed them a christian

  • Trent Rogan

God not worried if you believe in him or not he gives everyone a choice but you better never die without him open yours eyes in lake of fire
    😆

  • marcos_marcotron

God murders almost the entire world, and then puts some rainbow colours out there and poses with his thumbs up, and uses it as his promise never to commit genocide again.

People use rainbow colours as a display of respect, support and inclusion towards people who suffer from nasty people (most of the time because of religion), and somehow it’s ‘mocking god’.

Well I’m sure after reading this article they’ll be very sorry the mocked the murderer by being nice.
