Obama bashes Netanyahu’s Speech: ‘No new alternatives’

Benjamin Netanyahu

For those of you who may have missed it, The Prime Minister of Israel (Benjamin Netanyahu) flew to America in order to address a joint-session of congress. The subject matter was Iran and the Nuclear agreements being brokered with the Country by the Obama Administration. (Watch it Here)

If you watched the Address, I am sure that you can agree that the Israeli PM did a phenomenal job. Not only did he present his case, but he laid out the facts and brought his listeners from 0 to 100 in mid-east affairs.

Not only that, But despite his opposition, Netanyahu even gave the President a personal ‘Shoutout’ and thanked him on behalf of the entire nation of Israel for his constant support and assistance.

However despite the fact that Netanyahu went out of his way to thank the President — President Obama pretty much trashed Netanyahu’s speech in an Interview by stating that it presented No “viable alternatives” to the Nuclear negotiations with Iran.

I couldn’t help but wonder whether the President and I were watching the same speech because clearly I, and a room filled with bi-partisan Politicians, heard many fruitful alternatives. However I can’t help but feel that the only reason Netanyahu’s suggestions were not ‘Viable’ to President Obama is because they were not chosen by… President Obama.

In the Interview, the President even implied that Netanyahu is simply ‘the Boy who cried Wolf’ in that his perceived threat from the Iranian regime is based on speculation of what they regime Would do.

Before the President dismisses Netanyahu’s speech — I would suggest that he read the full story of ‘The Boy who cried Wolf’, because in the end — there actually was a wolf (Nuclear armed Iran).
