Pope Francis RFID chipSeveral days ago, in a post titled ‘Pope Francis goes Public with RFID Chip implantation’ — the National Report caused quite a little ripple in the online community.

Although this website sometimes include credible and accurate information, it has a bad reputation for “Stretching the Truth”. It was their reputation that caused for an immediate (and militant) response from the online “Debunkers” who quickly took up their laptops to protest the story.

…But Just how True Is this Story?

Whether the RFID is related to the Biblical “Mark of The Beast” is NOT the primary focus of this article — but rather the validity of the Information regarding the Pope’s support for RFID implementation.

Despite what many think, this News post actual does have some truth to it — and before you finish reading, you will agree as well.

The video above indicated that Pope Francis and his security detail will begin using RFID technology to begin tracking priests and employees at the Vatican. Therefore this alone adds credibility to the claim made by National Report.

According to News outlets, the Pope’s decision stemmed from an event in which the Pope’s butler stole ‘Sensitive Documents’ from the Vatican and released it to News sources.

As mentioned earlier, the Pope has made the decision to require that all ministers and employees receive the RFID tracking device — but whether the device will be implanted within the body or simply within some other entity (such as an Identification card) remains unknown.

Final Verdict:

Although the National Report does make some outrageous claims without providing sufficient evidence — It turns out that the information regarding the Pope’s support for RFID implementation is Legitimate.

But with that being said, there are several claims made by the same website that have not ‘Checked Out’ nor have any supporting documents been given to support the information.

Following is a list of False Facts (and evidence) that emerged from the National Report Website…

  • Claims that Pope Spoke to the crowd claiming that the RFID is not related to the Biblical Mark of the Beast. (While likely true, no supportive evidence)
  • Used an NBC video that was reported as “Last Month” (The Video was created in 2007)
