Micro-Technology: The World of Tomorrow, or Today?

Although the topic has already come and gone in the minds of most people, Micro-technology continues to gain momentum as the world’s most viable, affordable, and efficient method for keeping track of things.

However because this technology is so invasive, we have limited it’s use to animals and inanimate objects. Yet experts say that with each passing day, this potentially ‘Life Saving’ technology is moving out of the realm of luxury and into the realm of ‘Necessity’.

What if the day came where you no longer needed a ‘key’ to unlock your phone, car, or house? What if technology was created that could identify you simply by a wireless signal emitting from your hand? Doesn’t that sound pretty cool?

yeah well, this is where our world is heading.

According to studies, more than 2,000 children are reported missing each day. What if parents had a way of tracking down their children no matter where they are on Earth?

Or what if a random person is found unconscious in the middle of nowhere? If the Doctors cannot wake the person to gather relevant data about their medical history (allergies, surgeries, etc) how can they safely treat them?

Or what if you could walk into a grocery store, fill your buggy with groceries and walk out without being forced to wait in those annoyingly long lines?

All of these problems could be fixed by RFID Technology. However although there may be some positive aspects associated with this type of Technology — anyone thinking critically would agree that there are definitely some equally negative side effects.

Imagine a world where everyone knows where you are every second of every hour of every day. In addition, the government will have the power to access the ‘Logs’ of your every action — from the cradle to the grave. I’m talking from the exact time you walk out of your house until the exact moment you walk back in.

Every store you visit, every item you buy… everything is ‘Logged’.

Maybe I am just ol’fashioned — but I believe this type of knowledge should be entrusted to God alone.

Knowledge is Power, yet because GOD is perfect and infallible, we have no problem with him knowing this. However when you put too much knowledge and power into the hands of imperfect Men… it is almost always a recipe for disaster.

Think about Hitler, or Stalin.

This type of technology will open far too many doors for the age of ‘Government god’ where the government usurps power over the people instead of the other way around.

Unfortunately, rumor has it that the time is surely coming where anyone who doesn’t get on board with this technology will be rendered ‘Obsolete’ and possibly isolated from society.

After all, what will happen when stores no longer take cash, but only digital credit?
