Gunderson joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation in December 1951 — he later became head of the Dallas FBI in 1975.

After retiring from the FBI, Gunderson set up a private investigation firm in Santa Monica.

Later he became a defense investigator for Jeffrey R. MacDonald, a former Green Beret medical official accused of murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters.

While investigating the case, Gunderson discovered that MacDonald had been framed and later obtained a signed confession from one of the actual killers.

Unfortunately, Gunderson passed away in 2011 at the age of 82 from Cancer.

The video you are about to watch is one of the last public speakings that Gunderson performed a few years before his passing in which he outlines his discoveries from more than a decade of his investigative work.
