I was searching the web and stumbled across this video that I found very fascinating.
In the video, 1 tortoise sees that his friend is in a tough and uncomfortable position and quickly makes his way over to help.
After watching the video, I had an epiphany.
When we see others going through a tough spot in life — instead of standing idly by and hoping that their position will improve, why not step in and do everything we can to make it improve?
The Tortoise could have continued doing whatever it was doing and “hoped” that some nice human nearby would come and assist the other tortoise that was struggling to get back on its feet — But instead of just wishing help would come, the tortoise stepped in and decided to be the help.
