Last year, we predicted that we would soon see the Fight for “Marriage equality” spread into bizarre realms after the Supreme Court took it upon itself to allegedly redefine marriage, however we had no idea that it would emerge so quickly.

“A 19-year-old man charged in New Mexico with having an incestuous relationship with his mother told authorities he believed he could take care of her and keep her safe from abusive men like those in her past, a criminal complaint states.”

Monica Mares (36), and her teenage son Caleb Peterson (19) could now be facing up to 18 months in prison should they be found guilty of incest in their trial later this year.
However what is even more astonishing is the fact that not only have this mother and her son engaged in a consensual physical relationship, but they have vowed to fight for their right to have such a relationship without fear or persecution.
As reported by Daily Mail UK:
“The mother and son couple have vowed to fight for their right to have a sexual relationship and are appealing to the public to donate to their legal fund.
In an exclusive individual interviews with Daily Mail Online, they told how they are willing to risk everything to be together – and have decided to go public with their affair in a bid to raise awareness of Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) relationships”
Needless to say, after the Supreme Court ruling last year — this case will undoubtedly find it’s way back into the Supreme Court of the United States for a determination of what exactly constitutes Marriage.
If marriage is only a mutual agreement between two (or more) consenting adults, then what is there to stop a mother and a son from being married?
Or a daughter and a father?
Or a father and son?
Or a mother and a daughter?
Or even between 3-4 adults (polygamy)?
When we reject the Christian definition of marriage, the strongest argument against incestuous relationships is the fact that no one wants to have a 3-eye‘d baby (genetic mutation/deformity).
However wouldn’t a solution to this be for the couple to cease from pro-creating?
Furthermore what if a father wanted to “marry” his son?
In this event, the threat of a genetic mutation in the offspring is expelled (because neither of them can conceive). So by society’s standard, wouldn’t this sort of “relationship” be considered ethically acceptable?
Smh.
If you are a person who believes that there is a GOD that created all things, you have probably realized that the United States has been completely turned upside down. Furthermore as time progresses — more and more Americans (including some Christians) are allowing themselves to be swept away in this Tsunami of “tolerating the immoral”.
(talk about a great falling away)
However I would like to challenge those Christians to examine their faith critically.
The world is moving at such a rapid pace towards immorality that you must pick a side, and you must do so quickly. There is no more room for people to just stand idly by on the side-lines and watch. Either you will fight for Christian principles or you will not.
However if you choose to “Stay out” of the Fight … then you have already chosen a side.
